Uuuuugh this movie is awful. I've seen ALOT of bad movies, but this one takes the cake for worst. At least most of those other bad movies didnt try as hard as this one.
first off, the acting, uuugh. completely unbelievable and unrealistic, and incredibly cheesey. who would have thought that carl brashear was the bravest greatest man in the world. ever second cuba gooding jr was on screen it made me physically angry, i started hitting my asian friend really hard.
the directing, sweet jesus did this guy try too hard. he made every scene seem like some epic, with the standard emotional music playing and the tears and bla bla bla. This movie shows everything that is wrong with movies nowadays. It is an awful movie in disguise of a moving story, and so many people have fallen for it. At least movies like the upcoming Bad Boys 2 understand how awful they are and admit it. siiigh well i am going to do some major damage to myself to take the pain away that watching this movie has caused me. goodbye

i dno wat youre on about beacuse this movie is one of the best ones. youre crazy thats all i can sat to you but this movie is great! and they story line is true about racism and i think its a good movie.

You don't a good movie from a bad movie. Its movies like this that teach us about the bravery and honour of the past generations. So u just shut the hell up.

at least Copper Mountain is so bad it can be laughed at. You are right, what makes this so bad is that the director/writers really tried to make a good movie. Also, Pearl Harbor may be worse. I've never seen it, but it looks terrible in the same way this was.

Maybe not the worst ever, but certainly bad. This is the movie that I use to judge a person's movie taste. If you liked it, you probably have bad taste in movies (in my opinion). If you hated it, you are probably like me and can see through all the pretentious hollywood crap that is put out. I am so relieved when someone says they hated this movie. It gives me hope for America.

Unoriginal, unemotional, crap.

At no point did I care what happened to any character. I was not moved by the story. Very predictable. Cuba Gooding Jr, as usual, overacted ever scene. DeNiro was okay, but we have seen this DeNiro time and again.

okay i haven't seen this movie but i highly doubt it was the worst ever. another thing everyone has their own opinion and can express it cuz it's a free country. but when you tell people to shut up because you think that your opinion is the best then you're the idiot. i've seen worser movies than this one and everyone has different tastes. so what if this is a feel good movie. there are tons of those and not all of them are the same. i've seen tons of movies. cuba gooding jr is a great actor and snow dogs was funny as hell. It was not his worst movie ever and i doubt this one is either. Also hollywood is going to continue to make movies like this one cuz you know some people want to go to a movie and feel good about themselves when they leave the movie. Obviously some of you know nothing about how hollywood works. it's a fricken business that makes tons of money because people go to see their movies. It's all about supply and demand. As long as people demand to see feel good movies, hollywood will keep making this type of movies.
anyways Cuba Gooding Jr is a good actor. Hollywood obviously thinks so since the man has been given an Oscar for Jerry Maguire. So he can't be that bad of an actor plus the man has starred in 34 movies for godsakes. I bet none of you guys would be able to do that. I'm sure he's a much better actor than any of us (myself including) will ever be.
anyways this is only my opinion and you all have your own so let's just get along and not tell each other to shut up cuz nobody has to shut up.
plus the worst movie i've ever seen was the old invasion of the body snatchers. I have nothing against the acting but it just seemed cheesy lol maybe it's cuz of the special effects that i'm used to seeing as of now. who knows? lol
