Just started watching Farscape again.

I have the DVD box set of the entire series, plus the miniseries/movie conclusion on DVD. It's been a while since I "rewatched" it. Currently taking a break from Stargate rewatches, so I thought I'd get my Farscape fix.

I'm going to watch it in DVD order (appropriately so, given that I own the DVDs), which I believe is not the same as air dates order.

Too bad it's not widescreen! Oh well.

Okay, on to episode 1, "Premiere".

Just rewatched the entire show (S1-4+PKW). It certainly is
imho way better than what for example the CW peddles as SF
lately. Its not that prudish and uptight as Startrek and i
felt this show in its colourfull hippiness was made
by ppl who are rooted in the seventies. I had liked to see
more with an entirely new storyarc that has nothing to do with
scorpio and wormholeweapons.

Scorpio was a pretty interesting part of the show. The wormhole business, in my opinion, is perhaps the most interesting theme. The hippy-esque style of Farscape alone makes it much better than that Star Trek shows. Add to that (with Farscape) the character development and how well intertwined all of it is, the ST franchise pales in comparison.
