Which of the women in AKT do you find most appealing? Shannyn Sossamon, Bérénice Bejo or Laura Fraser?

For me it's Laura Fraser. She simply takes my breath away in this movie. Just wow.

Between those three, Berenice was the most attractive. But Laura Fraser was the most interesting.

IMHO, Shannyn Sossamon was miscast. She clearly wasn't the kind of person you'd expect to see in Medieval Europe. Whatever combination of white/asian she is doesn't do it for me.

I'd say Laura first; beautiful, interesting, capable.. sorry, I meant Kate.. NO, dammit, Laura!! :-)

I think Sossamon's character was supposed to be exotic and unattainable.
Kate is essentially a commoner with skills - attainable with a little work. And the hand maiden/friend was just that - a handmaiden, neither the foxy-focus nor the skilled commoner.

This is so surrealistically, outrageously, and absurdly funny a topic, that I can only sit here in awe with a huge open mouthed grin, shake my head, and clap with heretofore unseen gusto.

Some dude up top actually felt like he had to qualify his words so nobody would get the impression that he thought Shannon Sossamon was "ugly" and there actually has to be a thread on which one is the best looking?!

Shannyn. She s the most extraordinary beauty. Weird so many ppl criticize her cast. I think she and heath are adorable.
