‘Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines’ Is the Best Non-James Cameron Movie in the Franchise

The Terminator franchise actually works really well without James Cameron. Fight me!

I think this movie is actually pretty good and I have it on Blu Ray.. The problem is, is that T2 was so fucking awesome that it's hard for any movie to measure up to that in this franchise..

I can barely believe I'm saying this but I've come to consider Salvation is the best of the post T2 sequels

Its bad yeah (PG13 future war, McG), but T3 (lame retred of T2), Genisys (like a Marvel version of T2) and Dark Fate (probably the worst Terminator of all) are worse

I rewatched Salvation recently along with all the other Terminator movies and I have to say it is easily the best after T1 and T2. Good cast, setting, action sequences and it also continues the story while doing it's own thing without being a retread of the first two films. Would have liked to see a sequel to it to complete the loop with a tie back to T1 with John sending Kyle to the past.

T3, Genisys and Dark Fate were quite bad.

Agreed. Terminator Salvation actually did something different, rather than ape every aspect of the first two terminators (like what T3, Genisys & Dark Fate did). Everyone dogpiled on it but Sam Worthington and Bale did well.

Terminator Genesis would be the best non-Cameron
