I just watched this movie for the first time since it came out (I was probably around 6 or 7) and my husband pointed out how in the scene where Cindy sneaks into the Grinch's house, the Grinch acts really inappropriate. First of all, the dude's wearing NO PANTS, he is NAKED and keep thrusting his crotch area into the child's face, bringing his face half an inch from hers, in an attempt to scare her.

Now about the no-pants thing you might say that the Grinch has no penis so it's alright, but he is definitely portrayed as having a sexuality (more specifically, he likes boobs, the mayor's girlfriend's boobs), so he IS a sexual being, and not an innocent furry creature. Am I the only one who feels really uncomfortable with a naked, grown man acting so creepy to a young child?

I'm very disappointed in this movie and don't think it's cute and heartwarming like the book. I don't celebrate Christmas and never have, but that book was really sweet and I always liked it. The movie is just a pile of green sh-t.

No, that's just you. I loved this movie, its not Jim's best, but still it didn't lack humor.

What exactly is so sexual about trying to scare her? That right there shows you don't really know what you're talking about.

This movie's funny because the Grinch was right. The Whos were total douchebags.
