Haven’t seen this show in almost two decades.

I watched it as a child and always thought Brock was blind.

The show has Chinese origins. They probably modeled his eyes like a Chinaman.

I see. Still, he one of the few characters who has closed eyes. Most other characters have visible eyes and vision.

To give a serious answer, they gave Brock the closed eyes to give the appearance of age / experience. He was meant to be the wise one in the group
