Did any guy tear up during this film?
I did.

-Worst part about being old is... rememberin when you was young."
That really hit me bad, I know what he means. Not because I'm an old person, but because it's quite analogical to what Dante Alighieri once said: ""There is no greater sorrow than to be mindful of the happy time in misery."

I did a few times during the movie. The part where he explained the game he used to play with kids using the sticks and they couldn't break them because they were 'family'. That part hit me kinda hard for some reason. Really good movie. Glad I watched it.

I did at the end. I love how simple they made it and about emotion rather than dialogue. The simple fact that his brother went all that way on that thing to see him spoke for itself.
shareDo my part to help this post hit 100 replies. If you did not cry, you are emotionally immature. There was way to much universality to the journey, filled with regret...
shareThe Blue Ball scene, the sticks scene, the twins scene, the war memories scene, the very powerfull ending.
David Lynch is the Best!!!!

I did.
"I've been living on toxic waste for years, and I'm fine. Just ask my other heads!"
Just finished it and the last scene really got me. I knew they would meet but wow, that was written directed, and acted perfectly. I couldnt believe when I felt my eyes tearing up.
