dad cried at the end of this movie

i was a little kiddo watchin this with my old man. never really saw this dude cry even when his brother died he kept himself together (at least when i was around him) but for some reason that scene at the end when those dinobird things pterodactyls or whatever they were was flying by the plane when they are leaving the island made a bunch of tears roll down his face. it was awkward as fuck for me but at the same time kinda cool to see what a movie can do to a man. this movie might not be all that from a elite critics point of view but it definitely took him back to somewhere. really weird part of my childhood but funny non the less. nothing gayer than seeing your old man crying to some CGI dinosaurs but it was pretty interesting and moving to see someone impacted by film like that. that scene really had an effect on him. i always wonder what he was thinking about that day
