When Enid watches Norman leave on the bus. She looks surprised, but then her expression changes as the screen goes black. She's made her mind up about leaving town. We know Seymour is in trouble at work, so the next scene at the therapist isn't really needed.
shareI kinda thought it was going to end there! I do like the part where she gets on the bus. At least it seems like she's doing something and might be able to find herself wherever she's going. If it had just ended where the "one dependable thing" in (Enid's) life stopped being dependable, that would've been a much more sobering and dark ending, I think.
I also wasn't happy with Seymour's situation at the end of the film. It really felt like he got screwed over by Enid and the light at the end of the tunnel would be a long way away...
