One thing that irked me about the ending
We were, it seemed, supposed to sympathize with Bianca when she talked to Kat about keeping her locked up? Yet Bianca never receives any sort of punishment or anything at all, really, for her part in helping a guy who was paid to take out her sister, find out more about her? She thinks "a girl's room is very private", but it's okay to rifle through Kat's drawers? At least Kat made what was maybe a bad decision in the spirit of helping her sister -- Bianca's reasonings were purely selfish. And it's not like it was because of the age difference, as Kat had seemingly been a recluse since 9th grade after what happened with Joey.
This is even more illustrated by the end of the credits, as we see what is seemingly the beginning of a scene planned with a confrontation between Kat and Bianca, but that the creators of the movie apparently felt was okay to leave out. And before anyone says this, yes, she realized her flaws in using Cameron, but never once was anything mentioned about her actions towards her sister. I would be much less bothered by this, as simply a bigger issue a teen movie doesn't want to tackle, if the exact opposite hadn't just been tackled with Bianca confronting Kat.
