Cap Rooney or Willie Beamen?

If you're coach Tony D'Amato and are about to coach the Pantheon cup and have a healthy Jack Rooney at your disposal along with Beamen, who would you start at QB assuming you dont care what Christina thinks?

I am a Bills fan but I see Bledsoe's career as a tale of two careers. The first half he had the wonder arm and could make any throw on the field. That was at a time where 90% of quarterbacks remained in the pocket. But as his career progressed, teams figured out how to exploit his lack of foot speed. In Buffalo he had a bad o line and by the time he got to Dallas, the verdict was known he couldn't escape a blitz.

Brett Favre or Michael Vick?

I like Rooney if he is healthy. I like lefthanded quarterbacks. If Rooney struggled he could have brought in Beamon. But I think most coaches would stay with Beamon as long as the team was winning. That is what Bill Belichick did when he stayed with Tom Brady after Drew Bledsoe recovered from his injury. They won the Super Bowl so you can't argue with the results. I liked the classy way Bledsoe handled himself during that situation. The Patriots traded him after the season. If he finished his career in Buffalo and Dallas a little better he would be a sure hall of famer.

Rooney easily, Beamen is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you're going to get.

Bledsoe's issue was the game passing him bye; in the 90's QB's could get away with being flat footed but by the time he got to buffalo, defenses knew he couldn't evade a rush. He was great if he had an O line but scary bad if he didn't.
