In America alone, 68.3% of all high school seniors have engaged in sexual intercourse, contributing to over 1.5 million abortions per year. Why do so many girls go through with it? Mostly, it's because nobody is getting the brutal truth about the abortion industry into their hands. They aren't learning facts like:
Abortions are a billion dollar business. It's a living baby, not a blob. You may never be able to get pregnant again after having an abortion. Parents!… Pastors!… Youth workers!… We MUST get these facts into the hands of teenage girls before they and their unborn babies become the next victims of the money-hungry abortion industry.
LOL....if abortions were for making money the GOP and Bush would be 100% for them! I doubt that many planned parenthood clinics make a lot of monry per year. They would be better used to open Churches so Bush could send them tax dollars. What an idiot!
Go ahead, keep telling yourself that gwhite1. Planned parenthood makes tons of money from performing abortions and then there's a significant black market for the organs they harvest from the dead bodies. Not to sing Bush's praises (after all, he is a huge supporter of the death penalty), but at least he realizes that abortion is murder. Lots of things (like embezzlement, petty thievery, armed robbery, etc.) make money; just because they do doesn't mean everyone is "100% for them." Bush is an idiot? Or were yout talking about BrianTheBrain? You weren't very clear. Either way, they're not the ones who support murdering innocent babies in the womb.
By the seventh week all essential organs have begun development and well over 10% of abortions in the United States occur after the twelve week period. Roughly 1.31 million abortions were performed in the U.S., so that's over 131,000 babies with at least partially developed essential organs who are murdered yearly (keep in mind, the number is still probably much higher than that). Do you still claim there's no opportunity for harvesting expensive, uncorrupted vital organs from aborted fetuses?
Organ harvesting??? This is medically preposterous! You probably check no one stole your kidneys every morning. You people need to consider the sources where you get your "facts." Talk about propaganda... Also hilarious was the one that said that having an abortion diminishes your chances of getting pregnant later on. That was probably true when abortions were illegal and women had to go get butchered instead of being cared for by real doctors who are willing to put their lives in danger to help out.
Too bad the definition you offer doesn't indicate whether it's talking about civic law, ethical law, or moral law. Abortion is certainly against the moral law.
Also...
Common philosophy: "An unjust law is no law at all."
Abortion is an unjust law, so it is not a law. Therefore, it is still murder.
It's really silly for us to debate about what word we use to describe killing babies.
No, moral laws do not necessarily differ from person to person. Some moral truths are objective and the same for everyone. You don't have to take my word for it, but if you're ever interested C.S. Lewis has several books on this subject.
He didn't just write fiction. He was also a Christian apologist and medieval scholar. His book "The Abolition of Man" specifically deals with the subject of objective truth.
For the record, the majority of abortions are not had by unwed teenagers, but rather by married women, ages 30 an up, 64% of whom already have at least one child. http://www4.ncsu.edu/~brwilli2/abr4.html
The point is, it's not primarily young women who are having the abortions. So, if you're going to go try and reform people, best go with the people who are actually doing most of the aborting, not take it out on teenage girls, who are only a fraction of the demographic.
If you are going to argue your position with statistics, get them right. I'm not a really believer of abortion myself and think education is the best solution to the problem. Only in instances of rape (including rape by incest), child abnormality, danger to mother, or if a woman truly did try to prevent pregancy but it happened anyway (which should be rare) should a woman resort to an abortion.
However, thanks to church groups who think the only sex education a young, easily pressured girl (by overly horny boys) is "just don't do it' - that is the reason we have so many abortions they object to. Maybe if they got off their "moral" highhorses and started dealing with the fact that teenagers need education and access to birth control, not some dumb virginity pledge, then maybe the number of abortions would significantly drop. Praise the lord!
This isn't on-topic, but....what's up with that "it's unhealthy for women to give birth over the age of 35?" 35 is still a pretty young age, and women have babies then and for quite awhile afterwards all the time. Your late 40s and onward is when it become really "unhealthy."
Again, not on topic, and hell, I'm Pro-Choice, but I don't get that one at all.
I've heard the 35 thing, too. I don't know why 35 is the magic number either. It just might be the start of the 'unhealthy' age when more problems occur.
That you have no idea what you're talking about. 1.Billion dollar industry? So is heart surgery, and medication for Alzheimer's, treatments for cancer and chronic diseases. Obviously, healthcare of any kind is a billion dollar industry. Though most clinics are run on donations and grants.
2. Baby not a blob? It's basically a parasite that feeds off the woman's placenta.
3.Never have a baby? The same can be said about giving birth to one. Complications arise all the time. After an abortion, if the woman gets check-ups and takes care of herself, there should be no problems. ( If there are no pre-existing conditions )
I do think that teens of both sexs should be tought sex education. Not only to learn about the different methods and proper uses of birth control, but to learn about AIDS and other STD's They should learn to take care of themselves.
Maybe high school should stop teaching abstinence only sex ed, then these kids would know how to prevent pregnancy. Maybe people should stop shoving the joy of motherhood down everyones throats.
Maybe these women arent victims of an industry, maybe they do know the facts and maybe they dont want to give up 18 years of their lives raising a child they didnt want.
It is no better than a tiny bacterial cell in the firts trimester, which would make all people who treat infections murderers as well wouldnt it.
If you dont agree with abortion, DONT GET ONE! But dont try to take away everyone elses right to choose.

Perhaps you should rephrase by saying "I believe abortion is an unjust law, so it is not a law to me. Therefore, I think it is still murder.
I'm tired of people on here stating their opinions as fact. There are many people in this country who believe that this is NOT an unjust law, I being one of them, but I don't assume to play the position of judge jury and executioner, so please, get off your high horse.
I am pro-choice because I believe in the right of a woman to decide whether or not she wants to have a child. This is no one else's choice but hers. Don't get me wrong, I think abortions really suck. I wish every child could be wanted, but I think it has been proven as a FACT that this is not the case. As such, by America's standards of being a country of freedom and liberty, it is only right that it be legal for a woman to carry this out, no matter how hard it may be morally and ethically for all those involved.
"You kids shouldn't play so rough. Somebody's gonna start cryin."
"...Abortion is certainly against the moral law..."
Everyone's interpretation of what is 'moral' is different. For example I think it is immoral for a woman to have to carry the child of someone who has raped her, but you would disagree.
