When will PC die out?
Will it last 6 years, or are we doomed?
Ask the SP ranchers. They are the experts.
shareIt's already phasing out, notice all of the backlash the new 2016 Ghostbusters movie is getting?
If Donald Trump wins, it'll die out even sooner. Why? Because he's about as non-PC as they come.
Oh, so you're one of those Trump supporter, eh?
shareI hate PC culture but I don't get the hate for Ghostbusters. So they are rebooting it with women. It doesn't take away from the original and the little girls in my family love it and want to grow up to be 'Ghostbusters'

I don't give a f*@K about a troll who doesn't pay for his opinion telling me how to review movies.
Little girls like cheesy jokes about the boys, throwing Bill Murray out the window and shooting Mr. Staypuff in the balls because he's male....you can't have an all male team....that's not PC bro!
shareI don't get the hate for Ghostbusters. So they are rebooting it with women. It's simply misogyny. You'll find the same people on the Star Wars boards complaining about the female leads in The Force Awakens and the upcoming Rogue One.
Or maybe it's just that the previews were about as entertaining as watching paint dry. Ghostbusters is supposed to be comedy and there were exactly 0 funny lines in any of trailers released. You can tell they were trying, but not one of the quotes were remotely funny. So either they chose the worst parts of the movie for their previews, which would be their fault, or the movie just sucked all around. I'm guessing the latter. Either way, most people don't want to spend money to see a comedy that isn't funny. There may be some sexist pr!cks who hated this simply because it had female leads, but most people would have given it a chance if it had looked like a good movie. I'll give it a chance if I ever see it on television but there's no way I'm paying to see this.
shareGhostbusters: Kill the Franchise is All-Caps comedy (if they aren't laughing, you aren't shouting it loud enough), going by the trailers. Right there it lost a huge amount of potential viewers. It erased a beloved modern classic by being a reboot, so there went another batch of viewers. And _women_ who watched it said that if the gender roles had been reversed, women would have been burning down theaters in outrage. Paul Feig was bullied by boys as a child, and seems to hate men as a result, and it sounds like he poured all of that negative emotion into this movie.
You know what noone tells you about cooking with the Dark Side? The food is really good!
Leslie Jones naked! All because twitter banned Milo the Poofter.

I posted the original story of her iCloud hack two days ago. I see it and half the other posts are deleted by IMDB fascists!
No if Trump wins it'll generate a leftist backlash beyond anything we've seen yet, just like Trump and his nonsense are backlash to the PC we already have. One of the many reasons to hope he doesn't win.
sharethat's very true. this episode nailed him, in that he has no idea what to actually do if he's elected so it will be just like his campaign, one giant gaffe after another and it will be ammo for forever and a day in retaliation.
Larry Gaylord: "a billion people come in on a day off, and they don't flip out!"
hello, I am from 5 years in the future, and you were right.

It will keep getting stronger, unfortunately.
shareI think it is starting to die out now, I think more of the younger generation is starting to turn the corner and get fed up with the over-the-top parts of it. Unfortunately, I doubt the early/mid-20s crowd will give it up for a lot longer (like aging hippies). Seems to me that a lot of the crowd engaging in the lectures these days are people Colin Kapernick's age and older politician's who are always a little behind what's cool to reach kids anyway (they are still using emoji ad campaigns for Christ sake!).
shareI think that there's a difference between what people say and what's in their hearts. Notice how the PC bros milked the PC rhetoric for all it was worth when they were trying to pick up chicks at the frat parties?

I actually see no reason to hate him. I wonder why people always automatically hate what they're supposed to hate (by some cynical "cool" consent). His beating up of Cartman was actually really funny (whereas Cartman has become a bit annoying and anemic - like an all-powerful plot-device rather than a character). I guess the creators also saw no compelling reason to get rid of him, yet.
He might get boring after a while. But that's mostly because the newer episodes feel a bit washed out in general.
I guess he'll be offed sooner rather than later, simply because it would be "unexpected" by now.
As long as the media has a liberal bias and tells people what to get offended by, PC isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
shareSo are you pro PC or against PC?
Like the poster above, as long as others want to silence opposing views and cease free speech instead of opening meaningful dialogue, PC will always exist.

When logic and science aren't on your side, you always lose.
I seem to recall Anita and her friend Zoe wanting the UN to censor the internet because people said she sucked on the Internet her words not mine.
Also logic and science are good things to have at your side but then you become something like Spock a cold unfeeling robot. Which is why Kirk changed his view point on emotions.
Believe in yourself and create your own destiny.
