i liked the last season but this was painfully unfunny.

Ripped off jokes from the net without any shame and the delivery was just lazy.

Well, the running Caitlyn Jenner joke seems rather stale at this point. It didn't have the same freshness as the premiere of the last season.

I'm tired of watching hours of crap just to get a decent episode. The marathons of old seasons only makes me hate this "WE'RE EDGY AND DID THIS EPISODE IN 2 HOURS!!!" crap even worse.

But they are not edgy, just current.

I like this show when it is funny and totally offensive. It has stopped being both.

They have made their money and they are now simply coasting.

If wanting illegals deported makes me a bigot - then wanting a rapist jailed makes you a sexist!

I don't think they're "coasting" as you say. No matter how creative a writer you are, it's hard to knock it outta the park year after year, episode after episode for 2 decades. There's gonna be times some people think they're missing the mark if they decide to take the show in a certain direction. If they kept it the same, people would complain that the show never changes and is getting dull. If they change the format (like they did last year), then people complain about the new structure. Same goes for the comedy. Their humor has evolved over the years and is going to change along with the times. Political correctness is best handled with heavy satire, which is what they've been doing since last year. I admit, I was disappointed with this season's premiere, but I have faith that it'll improve as the season goes along..

For those of us who do not fit into the above this episode was amazing! It summed up perfectly everything that has pissed us off this past year so my advice just go have some member berries and mellow out man.

If someone hates you for no reason, give that jerk a reason :)

Haters of this show also have to understand we're in a different era where political correctness is real and certain segments of the population are willing to kill if they're offended and insulted enough. I'm sure producers and writing team are bound by far more "note from the network" than they were in the 90s to mid 2000s.

The show is still funny and still holds society up to a mirror with what they're allowed to work with in this day and age... It is a show that could go forever but I'm surprised Trey and Matt have stuck with it for so long since they like other projects. If it were to go away it would leave a huge hole in Comedy Central line up. And as of late, Comedy Central and MTV feel like "The South Park Network" with all the marathons and mini marathons they do.
