The first episode of the season sucks.

They need to put this show down.

If wanting illegals deported makes me a bigot - then wanting a rapist jailed makes you a sexist!

I thought it was pretty good actually. Some of the stuff was redundant and other stuff was out there but overall I enjoyed it.

I think it's too early to call any of it redundant given that it's going to be another serialised season.

It wasn't as advertised. I saw a preview clip of everyone in the stands singing new lyrics to the anthem. Maybe it was pulled here in final cut because that scene didn't air.

Obviously theyre setting up for another suspense and drama type of season again. I felt there were just too many plots going on and it certainly wasn't all about Kaperneck as advertised.

That was only one advertisement of at least 3 that I saw that had the Kaepernick lyrics in the ad. I figured that was something they did special just to promote the new season.

I understand why you say there was too much going on but nothing I saw made me think this episode would exclusively be about Kaepernick.

There were also tons of news articles saying it would be about Kaperneck. And they have to draw out the election storyline until actual Nov. election.

Mr. Garrison is still on the campaign trail, and the National Anthem gets a reboot by an American Icon.

This is the synopsis of the episode I saw here. I assumed the national anthem stuff would include Kaep but not that the episode would be centered around him.

yea I was looking forward to the episode going off that. They kind of did the same thing last season acting like it would be about Jenner then not really using her till the second episode. So maybe the kaepernick anthem still happens.

They have just gotten all preachy and up their own asses with messages. Still incredibly brilliant and entertaining but lacking on actual jokes.

It's been a long time since they put out an episode that I've ever wanted to watch more than once.

I stopped buying the DVD's after season 13 because It's not worth owning them.
