There's no goddamn desert in North Texas.
Been here all my life and have not once been to the desert. How do a bunch of "professional" filmmakers get something like this wrong?

That part was hilariously awful. Dallas in the middle of a damn forest, yet the movie portrays the city being in a dry, sandy desert with tumbleweeds, cacti, andountains out in the distance. And I loved how everyone was talking with thick southern drawls, because I guess that's how Hollywood thinks Texans sound like. The only thing missing were the cowboy hats and boots. It's sad how a major company will fall into stereotyping like that. Surely when they filmed in Dallas, the could see all the grass and trees, right?
