damm... that was really stupid...after what you wrote, i think that cstappert is right. you don't even know which language he's speaking...and if you don't like, don't look at the posts...he wrote in this "spanish" (AHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA) since the beginning. Is there any law that forbides people to do posts in other languages here? man...you must be american

and for a small english translation:
let's all talk in our native tongue, we'll see how long it'll last before the imdb staff forces some rules
errrmm can anyone please tell me what you are talkin about. I'm too impatient to learn an entire language. plus i dont have the mental capacity to learn things as i am a retard
LOLOLOLOL This is without a doubt the funniest thread on IMDB I'm laughing my heart out. But I don't see the point. Everybody here speaks english and this is an english site. Why complicate things? English is the most common language and this site is in english... Nunca vi um orgulho como o português... Não é orgulho, é exagero...
"I'm an insect who dreamt he was a man and loved it."

This is the WORLD'S biggest movie data base. So you can expect people from 275 countries to check this site. 1.2 billion people speak Chinese. Another billion speak Indian. Spanish is the second most spoken language in the world if not #1. In Europe there are 25 different languages in 25 different countries. The neighboring countries on the south of the USA speak Portuguese and Spanish. So it's likely possible that you might encounter a thread started in another language. The fact that everybody here from outside the USA tries to participate in English is a very good thing. It definitely makes things easier. I totally agree on that.
This not a message to tick you off, just an explanation ;))
I am from Holland btw, en ik spreek dus Nederlands.
I am from Holland btw, and I speak Dutch. It's a good thing this site isn't in Dutch, otherwise no-one would get it !!!

This was hilarious. Best part: "swedish vs icelandic." Here's my translation of what I think it says: "Fat and lazy Americans. They are so stupid." At least that's how most of the world sees us.

Brigada =)
NO i can't tell the difference between two foreign languages i don't give fsck about, could you tell the difference between swedish and icelandic? ok then point given
I feel that that some (not all) of the people who have chosen to speak their native tongue here are only doing so to seem smarter and in some way better than those who are speaking (or typing) English.
Also, even though the Spanish and Portuguese languages would seem very different to someone who speaks both or even one they would more likely seem very similar to someone who speaks neither.
Though I’m a big supporter of choosing to speak our native tongues and so I have done so.
