Yes.
shareNo.
I`m sorry for my lack of manners, but I`m not used to escorting men.
No. No astronaut has been lost in space.
However, in 1971 three cosmonauts died while returning from the Salyut 1 space station. When the Soyuz 11 capsule was recovered after landing, the three men were found dead inside. The breathing ventilation valve had ruptured, asphyxiating the cosmonauts before reentry.
To date, these are the only people to actually die in space.
...and don't point your fooking tentacles at me!
Depending on your definition of 'space,' the Columbia crew, who died during re-entry, might be said to have died in space.

4) You ever seen Superman $#$# his pants? Case closed.
isnt it amazing? NASA has sent 6 man flights onto the Moon, the most inhospitable environment ever, and they never had one fatality.....in 1969-1976 as well....
Yet they cannot do it in 2014
I call it ALL BS

NASA could have sent people to the moon in 2014, had they been given the money to do so. But they have been spending their budget on other missions.
All you had to do was give NASA the money to return to the moon and they could have done it. Why didn't you?
Why do you think it was BS?
The Challenger exploded in the 80s.
shareAside from Columbia(all aboard died in re-entry) and Challenger(all aboard died when it exploded after liftoff), the closest we came to losing anyone in space was Apollo 13.
