This is a horror movie

If you empathize primarily with John Malkovich over the other characters then you quickly realize that because this is one of the most compelling examples of body possession in fiction that has ever been made.

Definitely a horror movie.

no.

the tone is far from horror, even the characters arent threatening. The gun scene wasnt even a oh shet moment.

I agree... Well, at least the idea gives me more goosebumps than any other horror film that I have seen (not many). I have to admit, however, that the movie has so many other feelings in it, that it is not only a horror movie.

I wouldn't consider it a horror movie, but there are definitely creepy/disturbing things. And while Craig was a total *beep* his fate was disturbing.

I think Malkovich (as himself) was the most sympathetic one.

It's definitely a genre-bending film, and I've thought before that it has elements of horror. But that's not something that ever occurred to me the first time I watched it. The implications of the story are pretty horrific if you stop and think about them, but the movie itself isn't frightening to watch, and works more on the level of dark comedy/fantasy.

it is very creepy...

Fail.

It scared me quite a bit but only after I thought about it for a while. More of a psychological thriller.
