How come this is rated so low?

this was a totally enjoyable movie in tom and jerry fashion...all characters were great and the cast had great chemistry...i bet half of the low raters didn't even see this movie and gave it a low rating based on its concept-

I don't get it either.

I thought this was one of the funniest movies I've seen in recent years ... Lane was a stitch, and Walken, he who said he hasn't a sense of humor.

The best I can figure is it was a bit "throw-backy" and too "clean." Otherwise, I don't get it.

because it was *beep* stupid. i hated it. 5.9 is way too high.

"i am he as you are he as you are me and we are altogether."

It doesn't matter. Those who liked it, liked it and think it deserves better. Those who disliked it, disliked it and think it deserves what it got or worse. I think that it was good and I don't feel like debating an issues based on opinion since we all have a different opinion and are allowed to.

I think it is an ok movie but tried too hard to be funny. I also would have liked to see more of that hilarious mouse.

Why is this movie rated so low? It's tedious.

To cite just one example: The title is MOUSE HUNT, but it takes twenty minutes to get the brothers into the house to begin the moust hunt. The filmmakers obviously thought everything they did was hysterically funny, so they just let it run on and on. I do have to give them credit for cutting out the Deleted Scenes (seen on the DVD), which were even more pointless and unfunny than what was left in the film.

I gave it 7/10.

Personally, I think the film would have been a lot more enjoyable if they hadn't put in that horrible, horrible restaurant scene with the cockroach - that was just disgusting.

Still, that scene aside, it's a film that I'm content to sit and watch every now and again, and I do get some laughs out of it. I wouldn't say that it was the greatest film ever, but I can understand it's appeal.

I don't know how to rate this film. For myself, I find it cloying, overacted, cliche, uninspired, boring, predictable, an affront to my intelligence. If I was 5 however, I'd probably love it. 5/10.
