I was a kid who was obsessed with video games,movies, and mortal kombat? How could I not like this? I had no standards back then. This was the first time i ever truly realized what it is to criticized a movie. I tried to love it as I watched it if only for the fan service and it couldn't even pull that off well. They literally botched every single character and the more times I watched it, the more I realized just how terrible this movie was even though I loved anything with Mortal Kombat in its name at the time. Cary Tagawa's 1 minute uncredited cameo rerun from the original is the best acting in the entire movie.

I agree. This had to be the biggest bomb of 1997. Another movie I would consider torture watching all the way through would be Death Tunnel.

It's not a good movie, but I wouldn't call it the worst ever. Nor the biggest bomb of 1997. That honor goes to Batman & Robin.

You actually think it's better? At least MKA had a nice soundtrack going for it. Which was played throughout the movie.

Batman & Robin, while sucking in many way, is a far better shot and directed film than MKA. MKA really is one of the worst movies ever made. It fails in every area.

Worst movie is a little too harsh. It's a bad movie, but the visuals and characters give it a little value.
