Will was really awkward. For a well-read guy, that quip was weak. Then his remark about caramels was also silly and clunky. You can see the greenness in Damon and Affleck’s writing in these scenes.

The caramels thing is just plainly fucking stupid and embarrassing. The apples thing is childish but somehow I think that might be part of the point.

I have apples a few times per week. I like them cold so I keep`em in the fridge.
