IF YOU LOVED THIS MOVIE, REPLY!

I thought this movie was great. I really liked Salma Hayek in this movie. Its a shame that she doesn't do movies like this anymore. She always seems to be the "girl" of the main character in action movies. I think she should make more movies like this. I think we should protest against Sony to make a sequel. If you agree with me, we can all send emails to Sony Pictures Inc. and hopefully we can get a sequel. I would love to see what happens with Isabel and Alex after their canyon wedding. REPLY PLEASE! Thank you.

I loved this movie, but I don't think they should make a sequel.

It'll just ruin it.

Just adding my reply (3 years after the poster's initial post) to say that I adore this film - it's such a happy little film, and I could look at Matthew Perry for hours!! Love it!!

I saw this movie years ago and liked it a lot. I just recently saw it with my wife and it blew me away. Our personalities were so much like Alex and Isabella that it was scary and totally hilarious. My wife is Puerto Rican and I am American. Now It wasn't that the situation was the same, it was the little things they did that we both enjoyed. We were in hysterics. This movie definitely one of my favorites now.

This is one of my Top Five favorite movies of all time (up there with Top Gun and Tin Cup).

I really enjoy this movie. I'm actually watching it right now on TNT. It's hard to see the classism/racism but it's an important story to tell. I think Salma and Matthew had fabulous chemistry!

I liked it too, movies today are all about sex and violence, they don't help us in everyday life situations like this one. I also found it hard to place Matthew Perry with Selma Hayek, but that's what makes it worth your time - the director attempts to make the odd couple work out.
A big setback in this movie was in that they never showed how Perry ended up sleeping with Hayek in first place, they just showed him talking to her by the bathroom line, and then waking up without her in bed with him. I still can't picture them in bed together, and the director was no help... Plus, it's the whole trick of movies, to show how a passive guy like him would end up in bed with her after saying a few smart comments and letting her ahead of him in bathroom line. What happened after that, I needed details...
Oh well. Still, the movie deserves waaaay more than 5.7 stars... It wasn't bad, acting was good. The ending was a little dull, too.
