Has this aged well?
I've never seen it. Worth seeing? If it's dated I'm not interested.
shareSome people just think it's average but generally most people seem to fall into love it or hate it categories. Even when it came out some critics were calling it one of the best sci-fi films ever made, and some one of the worst. Mark Kermode (one of the top film critics in the UK) was in Cannes when it played, and said the audience were completely divided over it.
Whatever you think of it, you won't see many sci-fi films like it. It's like surreal/absurdist comedy mixed with European art house cinema mixed with a big-budget action film.
