is Interstellar the better Sci-Fi movie?

Neil deGrasse Tyson praised Interstellar for its scientific accuracy and creativity, while also noting that he had previously criticized Gravity for its inaccuracies. Tyson said that Interstellar was ambitious in its scientific exploration, and that it handled topics like Einstein's theory of relativity, black holes, and wormholes well. He also noted that the film had a physicist, Kip Thorne, as an executive producer and advisor.

and McConaughey was in both movies how weird is that.

Interstellar is for dumb people who don't know how the law of inertia works, and dodge the question:

This is your words: "Tyson said that Interstellar was better than Contact." Find a source to back up your claim he said Interstellar is better. And find a source to back up your claim he said: "Tyson said that Interstellar had better scientific accuracy and creativity."

reply

thats because people dont understand the complexity of Interstellar and newtons laws.

reply

You just prove you are dumb by saying Interstellar had complexity, it's a straightforward movie, even a kid can understand. No wonder you can't understand Newton's laws and quantum mechanics.

reply

thats because you dont understand Interstellar

reply

You proved to people that you had a hard time understanding Interstellar. I can't understand 1+1=2, so other people mustn't understand it.

reply

thats interesting.

reply

Jowilli: "I had a hard time understanding Interstellar, so other people must have had a hard time understanding the simple stupid movie."

reply

most intelligent people can understand Interstellar.

WGAF about accuracy in sci-FI? Emphasis on the FI. Instellar is the best out of the realism scifis: Contact, The Martian, and Gravity. Shout out to Cosmos (2019) which is the best low budget film in this genre.

reply

Interstellar is rated 4/10 from me. Contact is a 10/10.

Interstellar had too many illogical plot holes and rubbish logic.

You need huge booster rockets to escape Earths gravity but a tiny car sized ship escapes a planet with 100ft waves under influence of a black hole where even time slows down. lol.

Encoding of coords in sand where he says they must not go so he encodes the location using sand grains. Hahahaha

Complex quantum equations in the ticking of a watch hand that just goes back and forth. lol. So much stupid.

The whole tars and love story and her being the mother of embryos in another planet devoid of food. Hahahaha.

Everything about Interstellar was unscientific and illogical and made little sense really.

Matthew Mcconaughey is a great actor and Anne Hathaway is a great actress but they were probably laughing to the bank with the noise blaring movie.

Contact is for higher iq intelligent folks interested in science fiction while interstellar is more for the opposite

^ this

Contact was written by an actual scientist. Interstellar was written by a Hollywood hack.

reply

With you on every point.

reply

I really enjoyed Interstellar but I prefer Contact.

reply

Contact by far, despite having McConaughey in it.

reply

Neither one is worth watching.

Both boring a hell.

reply

Contact is more rewatchable than interstellar, I don't care about scientific accuracy, I like Jodie Foster in that role while interstellar has no memorable performances

reply

Unfortunately, Interstellar does have one memorable performance - Matt Damon... Not entirely his fault, as the writing is awful, but I will never forget him in that movie.
