Do most people like this better than the original?

I love both movies, but I think A Very Brady Sequel is actually even better than the original. I'm surprised to read comments from some who say they like the first one the best. To me, the 2nd movie is the winner hands down.

So which one do others vote for as the better of the two?

The whole situation of Roy as this conniving crooked guy having to fit in with squeaky clean Brady's is great. His constant incredulous reactions to the Brady's, the numerous slip-ups he makes, the moments when he lets his real cynical self come through (and the Bradys' usual misinterpretations of those), all those provide so many good comedic moments. The chemistry between him and the Brady's was great.

Don't get me wrong; the first movie is delightful and hilarious in its own right. I just thought the sequel, largely thanks to the situation with Roy, topped the first movie.

The first one is good, it's well worth watching, even though most of the original series references don't work for me since I've only seen a few episodes. But I really enjoyed the sequel. Having the Bradys stuck in the 70s was kinda inspired, it works so well. The Roy story worked, too, and I had a huge crush on the actress who played Marsha.

I enjoyed both movies but the humor is stronger in this one for me.

there both good. like one long movie. the first one might be better because of jan's insanity, she's a little crazier in the first in a creepy way and it's funny, but she's good in the sequel too.

This movie is a bit funnier than the first one, and had more of a plot.
But the first movie was more in tune with the TV show, just showing how they would be out of touch in the modern day.
It made fun of the TV show, but people who watched the TV show would be entertained by it.

The sequel was for a different audience.

Since they're both satire this one is clearly better. Same thing that happened with Adams Family Values. First one tests the waters and the second one really digs into the humor
