The best film ever made

I'm serious

reply

Why?

reply

It’s a surrealist masterpiece, using the properties of film - image, sound and time - to render the workings of the human mind, in this case a deranged mind frantically trying to outrun reality.

reply

Lol

reply

One of the most unusual, that is for sure.

A interesting mix of mystery/horror/and Twilight Zone.

reply

Certainly is the weirdest movie ever made, I kinda liked it.

reply

Well, it is my 3rd favorite Lynch film after Blue Velvet and Eraserhead and it is definitely in my top 50 favorite movies ever.

reply

Inland Empire is weirder. Lost Highway broadly makes sense once you understand Lynch’s founding idea.

reply

So serous that you deleted yourself.

reply

Fools who delete their posts after making a provocative statement annoy me. Even if he overstated it, stand by it. It is a very good film.

reply

Apparently, ppl who deleted their accounts, can still make comments. I've wondered if the same thing can happen with threads.

reply

Okay, explain that. How can someone with a deleted account make comments?

reply

It's true. There is a poster on here that does it. I'm not sure if I'm recalling what he said correctly, but it's something along the lines of how he deleted his account on one device. Then used a different device and discovered quite surprisingly that he was still able to post even though he was deleted. I don't recall if he said he had to sign in again on that second device or if he was still signed in on the second device. I think he was still signed in. So in other words he had a couple different devices that he would use when he would post on here. On one device he deleted his account. Then when he used the other device to check out the website he noticed by accident that he could still post even though his account was deleted and I believe that he was still signed in on the second device. Something like that anyway. Just yet another example of how glitchy this site is and how nobody gives a fuck enough to fix anything or run it the way it should be run.

reply

Well it's a great forum. So even with the glitches, if you're looking for the IMDb legacy boards, it's preferable to its one competitor.

I am especially used to ProBoards forums. The system here is a bit different but once I became accustomed, I love it.

So yeah, there seems to be no one in command above the mods. Odd predicament with the founder having disappeared.

Still, this is probably my favorite message board forum right now.

reply

It's not even Lynch's third best.

Mulholland Drive, Blue Velvet and The Elephant Man are better.

reply

"Wild at Heart" is actually my favorite Lynch film.

reply

You’re so serious that you deleted yourself.

Yeah. You’re serious.
