It's based on the fairy tale Little Red Riding Hood. I love this movie! It is my favorite dark comedy. I highly recommend it. But it is definetly not for kids!

Yeah I noticed it recommended on nearly everything I looked on, so I bought it (mainly cos of Kiefer in it) and then rated it but it hasn't stopped it croppin up everywhere.

Its quite a good film though, bit messed up with very very dark comedy

I'm tired of seeing this movie in the recommendations! even when you can't find similarities in plot and cast. There's something fishy here.

I actually saw the movie before i noticed this, and i didn't think it was too bad! I prefer it to any other Reese Witherspoon film.

Yeah it must be an error. This movie is recommended everywhere on IMDb. Maybe it's a trick to make unaware people watch it.

lol Derek. Yeah same reason here too... I got annoyed by the cover so I just HAD to check it out! This was also the case with Mysterious Skin starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt a while ago... that movie turned up almost everywhere I went, so I just HAD to see it! And boy was I pleasantly surprise! Maybe I shall do that with this movie too... ;)

It seems like a marketing ploy but probably isn't. I mean it's odd that it's only with this movie though, and none other. But I agree with the Mysterious Skin comment! I too used to see it crop up a lot but I haven't in a while.

This has gone quite far enough, I was just checking "Rocco does Sweden" on hot xxx galore and even there they had recommendation for this bloody flick.
It was almost the same with "Caligula" a couple of years ago.

Or maybe it is simply because Freeway is so good that no matter what kind of movie you're going to watch, you should also watch Freeway. Kind of like Chuck Norris of all the movies or something...
