Should have hired more attractive actresses

My preference was always Robin, then Rachel, then Neve, then Fairuza.

None of them were 'unattractive', but I for one am grateful that they didn't cast supermodels as the leads. It made the leads more relatable and empathetic.

I also appreciate that they cast a beautiful blonde, Christine Taylor, as one of the antagonists, and a racist one at that.

This is one of my favourite teen movies from an era where there weren't a lot of teen movies speaking to my generation (i.e. a few years before there was an explosion of teen films with American Pie and Cruel Intentions etc), and a large part of that comes from the film's affinity towards 'outcasts'.

Fairuza Balk is one of the sexiest human beings to ever exist.

What is everybody insane?? They were all gorgeous. Except for Fairuza Balk when she acted psycho.

Maybe Fairuza Balk is an acquired taste. But I definitely acquired it a loooong time ago.
