Haven't seen this since it came out but Rachel/her character were just there for me, it was all about Neve and Balk. Nothing to do with race and then I don't recall ever seeing her again or thinking about her.

I would guess that it was the same for many. Robin Tunney didn't leave a huge impression on me either and she is whiter than Balk.

Really, Neve?? Since you’ve only seen it once 24 years ago are you sure your memory isn’t just playing tricks because she ended up being the breakout star? Tunney was the central character and Campbell did nothing especially spectacular to stand out from the pack or eclipse the others as I remember it.

I would totally accept a claim that Balk was the most memorable actor of the lot. Antagonists often are and if I’m honest it’s her OTT crazy that stuck in my mind the most. That said, Campbell and True were both secondary to the battle between the good witch and the bad witch, at least that how it sits in my memory.
