Robert's most annoying moments

I see most annoying moments threads for the others, but not for Robert, so thought I'd start one. For me, one of Robert's worst ones was The Thought That Counts. He acts like a jerk about Ray spending more money for Marie's birthday gift, and then accuses Ray of being a glory hog.

Later, he snaps and tells Debra that it was his idea for Ray to get Debra the To Kill a Mockingbird book for Christmas, just because he's jealous and is obviously, secretly in love with Debra. What's everyone else's?

Robert's behavior annoyed me in the episode when Ray's house had to be fumigated and the family bunks in with his parents and Robert.

Marie insisted they stay with them instead of a hotel, but their presence got old fast. Both Marie and Frank disliked having their privacy invaded and their way of life disrupted. But their reactions were funny because they were always so clueless.

Robert, on the other hand, knew his parents behavior and usually sided with Ray and Deborah. But in this episode, he acted just like Frank and Marie. And he was a forty year old man living with mommy and daddy and acting like a brat.

But annoying as he was, I always laugh when he comes into the kitchen wearing only a bath mat after Deborah "helped out" by bleaching all the towels. lol

LOL, yeah, and I also didn't like the way he acted in The Surprise Party.

I liked Robert and thought he was funny. He didn't usually get on my nerves. The only times he came close is when he was always ratting out Ray and Frank any time they found a little angle that was working for them.

Robert was very annoying in one of my favorite episodes. Amy and Robert were blissful newlyweds filled with marital advice for Ray and Deborah.

It's a very funny episode. But if someone in real life acted like Robert, he would deserve to be taken down a peg.

Robert had one failed marriage and was still in the "honeymoon phase" of his second marriage. Still, he presumes to give marital advice to Ray. What nerve! lol

I think my favorite episode is "She's the One"

I loved..."she ate a fly"

As Robert is climbing out the window to leave the "frog" room, she comes in and catches him and says "You know Robert, we all come from frogs".
He bobs his head and says "Aaaaah, interesting!", "Good night" and drops.

I love that episode. He's hilarious.
