This movie ain't so bad. Rosie O'Donnell, Demi Moore, Thora Birch, Bonnie Hunt, and a few others really made this movie shine. Demi Moore's first-born Rumer being in this film is also admirable.

The fact this film was set in the early 1970's is kind of fascinating because My Girl did the same thing.

Finding 'drama' movies to watch with my tween daughter which isn't another forgettable comedy, super hero kids adventure or a dance / ballet contest has been hard, but this one was perfect.
