I think we all have characters from this movie.I was reminded of this by another thread. I, for one, would be Roberta. It seems like most people are Sam.
I also have 3 best friends who are exactly like the movie.
I'm Teeny though I think I'm also simalar to chrissy especially when i was little.
I absolutely L-O-V-E this movie. This is without a doubt THE movie that defined my childhood. I was a combination of all four- tomboyish and assertive like Roberta; boy crazy and attention-seeking like Teeny; slightly awkward and scared like Chrissy (thought I never would have admitted to having anything in common with Chrissy back then!); and observant and inquisitive like Samantha.
My parents weren't divorced, but it seems like everyone (at my primary school) else's parents were. As far as New Zealand was concerned, play station games and computers were strange, expensive things that didn't occupy a fraction of the same amount of time they do with kids these days. We rode our bikes, climed (and got stuck in) trees, and fantasised about building huge tree houses in plum trees where we could live when we wanted to run away from home. I swear to God, we even used to perform sayonces (sp?) and little spells to make contact with ghosts! Lmao we scared the crap out of each other! Anyways, this film is a real treasure. I still have the original video recording of it that I've had for 10 years somewhere, wonder if it's still in good condition...

Sam and Teeny because my parents got divorced and my mom moved in some guy while we were on vacation and i hated his guts....and i still do but whatever. apparently my mom doesn't give a shi t about me. oops kinda went off topic. and Teeny cause when i was her age i dreamt of being an actress
