Where did you cry?
I always cry when Sara is watching her father leave from the window, and tearing up.

shareNow that I'm grown up (this movie was a childhood favorite) I cry all through the movie!
The music, the gorgeous visuals and heartbreaking theme...I'm procrastinating all my chores today to watch this on HBO Go and tears have never left my eyes since the breathtaking opening fantasy sequence.
I think I'm just really sappy and sentimental but there's no denying the beauty of this film and its ability to elicit emotion.
I believe I was about 29 when I first saw this in the theater with my niece who was about three or four years old. Towards the end, when things were getting scary and intense, and it seemed father and daughter would be separated again - my niece, obviously scared and worried, jumped up on my lap, and we watched through to the end of the movie, holding each other, and eventually crying of course, at the emotional ending.
We were sitting fairly close to the screen, and the lights came almost immediately when the credits started. I turned around and saw, scattered around the theater, mothers holding their daughters in the same way I was holding my niece, wiping tears away and smiling.
I realized I was the only guy in the theater.
Throughout the entire movie!!!! Lots at the end where his memory comes back!
F--- him....... He's trash (Robert Loggia-"Jagged Edge")
