clones missing at end? scenes cut?

in the ending fight, they make it a point to show characters looking at the pods in the center, where there were new clones growing. they look shocked the pods are all now empty - obviously the clone things hatched and took off...

so, where did that story thread go? 8 - 12 barely mobile clones just leave? maybe for a sequel? I wonder if there was to be a big clone battle or something?

anyone know?

everything confusing because this film was total mess

the director danny cannon was midget who tried to intimadate cast on first day by screaming "fear me!! you should all fear me!!" to them but they all laugh (sly tell this story on imdb trivias)

this film would be better if sly direct it. good actors in to and good concept but typical mediocre sly action movie

you want good sly action film watch all him films from 1976-1993
