I loved this movie but the opening song is just absolutly deplorable. If carlos Santana was dead he would come back from the dead just to kill the awful singes on this track.

Obviously you’ve never heard the song “A Changing World” sung by Michael Johnson over the opening credits from the movie SERIAL (1980). Excruciating, like fingernails down a blackboard.

This may come as a nasty shock to you, but original songs have been covered by others for many years and will continue to be for many more to come. Open yourself up to other options and creative interpretations. I find nothing wrong with the song and have an appreciation for Rusted Root and their style.

I love that a year has passed and my little blog is still here. Wow I am honored! I still think this song is awful and a trial at Nuermburg is the only thing that will appease me in my hatred of this awful song. Rusted Root will burn for that awful title sequence!

Anyone who likes Rusted Root, and worse yet their criminal cover of this song, is a fool who has no taste in music.

And don't tell me that you can have an opinion about music. Obviously you can't. You've forgotten how to perceive correctly. Try again.

A truly cringe-worthy version of a great song.
A cover that should be covered, as a dog or cat with good manners would.

I'm not a big fan of this cover either, but there are far, FAR worse songs out there. Just turn on the radio.

Carlos Santana didn't write this song. It was actually
written by Sonny Henry.
