Not just related to this film, but in general, does real life have...

... heroes and villains, good guys and bad guys or even good and bad people, is the law in life perfect and always THE right solution and is all "criticism" of it wrong, do some guilty violent criminals in life truly deserve to die and are we SUPPOSED to see it as a "happy ending", do happy endings in life even exist or...

Is our life and world of humanity not that simple? And that we are not easily divided into perfectly identifiable binary categories? And that no one is all bad or all good and no one is all hero and all villain? And that law, whilst necessary and we have no REAL alternative "system" to it, is nowhere NEAR perfect and that bad and unfortunate things happen in it due to often the very flawed and complex nature of humanity in general?

And that at times death penalty for instance is NOT a perfect solution even if it targets bad guys, and that at times we CAN understand culprits as opposed to just totally despising them full stop, and that we have back stories and nuances behind every or most people or even certain HARSH FACTS OF REALITY including between groups of people, men and women even, different nationalities etc, and its never just about fighting evil and winning and being all happy even if tragedies, and murder being THE most obvious an example, happen?

And do you think that in a way, this movie ALSO wanted to tell us THAT and shed light on those things?

P.S. Is it really in life even UNDERSTANDABLE if some people may feel pity even for the worst and guilty individuals? And realize we are all sinners in a way? Not to mention, that life in general doesn't work like it does in movies, i.e. it is often more complicated, complex, at times relative etc than that, as much as we all agree on GENERAL rules including LEGAL issues out there? Cheers.
