Curious what my fellow Bob & David fans are watching on tubes these days, of the "cult comedy" variety, to get their sketch comedy (or just alternative comedy) fix?
I was watching "Wonder Showzen" and "Tim & Eric Awesome Show" while they were showing new ones. Not too much more beyond that. Also been re-watching "Arrested Development" on IFC.
Any good suggestions?
Watching "Rick and Morty". Just watched an interview with Roiland and Ridley. Roiland gave a shout-out to the inspiration he got from Mr. Show, back in the day.
And, of course, the Rick/Morty team has been privileged to work with some of those old faces, like Cross in S01E04/"M. Night Shaym-Aliens!" and Thompkins/Johnston in S01E06/"Rick Potion #9", and of course the voice genius Tom Kenny, uh, EVERYWHERE.
