In the '90's I was age 9-18. I remember watching 90210 when I was way too young, fanny packs (Jesus!), Walkmans with cassette tapes,VCR's, video store mania (no Netflix), beepers, kid's TV (Saved by the Bell, Doogie Howser, Parker Lewis can't lose, Full House-I admit I watched it, Nickelodeon-Pete & Pete, Doug, Hey Arnold, Salute your Shorts, Rugrats, All That), Al Bundy, loving Jordan Catalano from My So Called Life, WB dramas (Dawson's Creek, Buffy, etc) in my teens, horny R&B (R. Kelly, Jodeci, that song called "Knockin Boots"), Quentin Tarantino, chockers, back pack purses, clog and platform shoes, those awful thigh high stockings, belly shirts and baby doll dresses, Starter hats and jackets, the revival of swing dancing (i.e. Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Brian Setzer Orchestra, Big Bad Voodoo daddy, the GAP commercials), ravers with glow sticks, Meg Ryan chick flicks, being obsessed with "rock alternative" like Oasis, Alanis, Green day, loving The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The awful Macerna, the movie Clueless, boy bands, Britney Spears, Spice girls, TRL. Johnny Depp in his purest non-commercial & unconventional form.
