One thing that always bothers me about Butch

Is that he easily could have taken the watch with him himself. The ONLY possession he cares about is that watch. He has a duffle bag. Just bring it with.

He didnt want to bring the watch with him to the fight in case he got killed there. The watch needed to be protected for his offspring.

reply

That makes absolutely zero sense. What offspring? There's no evidence he has kids and he obviously doesn't if he's on the run to another country without them. If he's afraid he's going to get killed there.... how is he going to have an offspring if hes dead?
There's no evidence Fabian is pregnant, and even if she was.... she has no idea about the watch, does she? He obviously has never told her.

I think he didn’t know how it would all go down after the fight. As it was he had to make a fast exit out the window, and it could have been worse.

reply

Could be. But I wouldn't buy it. He knew all along what he was doing. Granted he didn't know he was going to kill Floyd, but he had every intention of winning the fight and then getting the fuck out of there. I think the window was the plan all along and he had Esmerelda all lined up to go. Either way, I don't see why the watch would hinder that.
