that was weird. When there's no more room in hell, The dead will walk the earth...
The two kids will never be cousins, period. Vada has no blood relationship to the boy, nor does her uncle. The boy will become a step-son if the uncle marries Nick's mom. At best for those looking for some relationship, Vada and Nick would be step-cousins. As soon as the word "step" is invoked blood relationship is removed. If one believes in God, and in creation of mankind by that God then we are all related, and who cares how far removed that relationship is, we are nevertheless related, so does that bother someone? The movie deserves a much better rating than 5 but due to the moronic stated concerns about some incorrect relationship between a young lady and a young man those non-factual observations jade the rating deserved.
shareIt's not blood related...it's not gross at all...you wanna see gross? Check out Gone with the Wind...
"In Vino Veritas"
I'll tell you what *really* bothers me, a lot more than a kiss between future step-cousins who recently met for the first time -- and that's the needless name-calling in this thread.
If cousins marrying one another bothers you (and it does make me rather uncomfortable), take a look at the royal families of Europe. Start with Queen Victoria's nine children and 44 grandchildren -- they married first cousins, and second cousins, and then their double-cousin children married each other. "Dangerously inbred," is the term I've heard.
"I've loved you my whole life."
"You've only known me three days."
"That's when my life began."
They weren't blood relatives, step-cousins if they were anything. But they were nothing until the marriage.
Life is pain. Anyone who says differently is selling something.
