Don't get me wrong, I love this movie (I watched it so much as a kid that I memorized every scene), but I just caught the end on TV and my God, most of the the effects don't hold up anymore, as amazing as they were when it debuted. I can't believe it's been 20 years . . .
shareI think it does hold up, as does the whole film. It's not the greatest film bit it was a part of our childhoods, and Jim Carrey is great in the role. :)
I enjoyed the film.
Honestly I bought the DVD of this last year for the Christmas and seen it last month(it was actually on TV last year too so that's when I decided to buy the movie as I haven't seen it in years). The makeup design on Carrey is really well done(even though you can clearly see two big circles under Carrey's eyes while the insides of his eyes are painted green.
Its suppose to be cartoon like.
