I think I've watched everything: 'Reflections of the Past' just today actually, 'Anne Perry Interiors' a couple of years ago, etc. and read 'Parker and Hulme: a Lesbian View' and 'The Crime of the Century' by Peter Graham. I also read a few books supposedly based on the crime 'The Evil Friendship' by Vin Packer and another pulp fiction whose name I can't recall (it's referenced on the wiki page). Lastly, I've read Michelanne Forster's 'Daughters of Heaven' play.
I really want to read the transcript of the trial and the diary too, but I can't find it anywhere.
i just watched a short inteview of Anne perry by ian Rankin, which was very interesting. i think I might read the Peter Graham book, which looks quite interesting.
I'm like you, read and saw every detail on the case, of which the friendship still haunts me. Started to read Anne Perry novels recently. The NZ law states such documents (like the diaries which were entered as evidence) must remain 'in custody' for a period of a hundred years before they may be made public. So if ever, we'll have to wait until august 2054 before anyone may decide to publish them. That's a big 'if', since we know nothing of the state they're in (sources differ), and the decision may be made to never make them public, because it would not be honorable to Pauline/Hilary, who will certainly be deceased at that time. The only way to get access to the transcripts (not the diaries themselves) is to make a court appeal, which will probably be denied. If your desperate to learn more, I guess the only way to get info is to ask Hilary Nathan herself. And I think you know it's best not to, unfortunately. I really, really would love to have a talk with her myself, but the though to maybe write her gives me an uneasy feeling. Further more, I believe Juliet's diaries, if they ever existed, would have really given us even more insight on their relationship.
