On the Dumb and Dumber boards there is a thread about the funniest small parts in the movie...seen as Jim Carrey is the best Actor at pulling of small parts in a big way i thought i'd do that topic for Ace aswell....My favorite small part is at the Billionaires party when he walks past the orchestra and pulls the violinist arm causing him to stuff up..u barely see it but i was in hysterics...wot are your guys favorite funny small parts?

There's a scene shown on TV when he is talking to Tone Loc on the phone at the mental institution and some crazy old man is behind him, mimicking his every move, and Ace says "Hold on a sec," turns around, "Do you MIND?"

I was actually upset when I finally bought the VHS and it wasn't included because it was so funny.

Oh, but the cello part at the party was hilarious too. I had to rewind and see it again.

or maybe it's his reaction to "Homicide, Ventura. How ya gonna solve that one?" The cops are all laughing at him and he looks so genuinely amused by it.

i find this line so hysterical because its honestly what people do when they don't want to lose an argument...i spent a long time arguing why When a stranger calls was a bad movie and everytime i made a strong fortified valid point some fan would reply with " WHY DON'T YOU JUST SHUT UP! AND GO AWAY"

My other favorite Detail is when he comes out as the Dolphin trainer to the press and he's like....SEVEN YEARS i train dolphin...and he holds up five fingers.

my favorite movie ever, i can call any 1 minute clip my favorite scene, but if i understand the theme of this message board, my favorite small part in the movie is when..

hes at camps party and hes sticking his tongue out with the food on his tongue and making funny faces and everytime a random dude looked at him, he looks away so casually. he does it so well.

this movie would have bombed with any other actor. jim carrey is genius.

lol, someone said it earlier, but when hes in the mental institution and hes in the private bit, looking for info on finkle.

So funny when the guys about to walk in, and he panics and looks round for somewhere to hide, and theres just a cardboard box sat in the middle of the floor, lol. So he gets in and tries to rap himself in it, so good.

Also when the mission impossible musics playing at the billionaires house, and he jumps over the railing, goes about 5 feet, then climbs back over, and lunges at the wall, lol.

I love the way he drives up to the football stadium, and when he parks and says 'LIKE A GLOVE'!.

Also at the end when he scrapes his shoes on Einhorn's face and says LOOOOSSEERRR!

I freaking LOVE the part in the beginning where he’s eating the sunflower seeds and spitting them on the desk:

Melissa: Would you like an ash tray?
Ace: I don’t smoke, it’s a disgusting habit

And the part where Ace is talking out of his ass is classic

Oh and: Warning *beep* are closer than they appear...that line gets me every time

mission impossible music scene outside at the party.... ace is in stealth mode and when he finally gets into the room with the tank he SLAMS the door.... hilarious

Ok, I know I am WAY late in posting on this thread, and like everyone else I have seen this movie about a million times.

And I don't know why this is funny but here goes.

Near the end of the movie, there is a scene where Ace is talking to Einhorn and I *think* it's when she is congratulating him. On her desk is a banana and an apple on either side of it. I can only assume it was a penis joke and/or foreshadowing. But holy crap, I must have laughed for like 15 minutes. I had NEVER noticed it before.

at the beginning of the movie when ace is dressed as a delivery person and he shows up at the guys house with the package smashed and the guy goes "it sounds broken" and ace says "quite possibly sir, i'm sure it was something nice though." i find that part hilarious!

My favorite is definetly the whole dolphin impression after the tank scene. he takes on a german accent and starts imitating a dolphin.

"And I'm saying to the dolphin aga aga aga aga and he's saying to me, aga aga, and he's up on the tail going ..."

it's so funny.
