Was I the only one...

...that cried while seeing this film?

reply

Yes. You were.

Supermodels...spoiled stupid little stick figures mit poofy lips who sink only about zemselves.

reply

Oh, don't be so sure, MetFan. There are probably people out there who have cried and either haven't seen this board or don't want to admit it. I never actually cried, but I did tear up slightly when the dinosaurs first see the Wish Radio and you hear all the kids' wishes and see them in the bubbles. The first ones, not all the ones like "I wanna see a dinosaur." Nostalgia, I guess.

If truth is stranger than fiction, where are the flying monkeys?

reply

I cried, some of them were just so sad. It was... no it is a great movie! I love it!

Fiyero: You must think I'm really stupid or something!
Elphaba: No, not really stupid.

I almost teared up at the end with the pictures, but I didn't cry.

reply

No you weren't the only one. I saw it today before Church, and the part where Rex, Elsa, Woo(or something, sorry if I got it wrong off the top of my head), and Dweeb gave up their freedom for Louis and Cecelia's, I had tears. But I'm sure I bawled the last time I saw it.

reply

yes i cried...coz I hadn't seen it for about 7 years and it just brought back so many mermories, I just cried through alot of the movie or felt like crying. I'm 14 btw so i was pretty young when I first wacthed it. I remember not liking this movie very much when I was a kid but now I love it! Roll back the rock is just the catciest song EVER!! I just felt like getting up adn dancing, haha! I think i've fallen in love with louie aswell. hehe

reply

oh and I also love the music.. especially the music when louie and cecilia first meet... the song just gives me goosebumps. absolutely beautiful.

reply

People are never the "only ones" to do anything. So yeah, I bet there were tons of people who cried. I mean, there are billions of people in the world; I hardly doubt you're alone in this.

reply

I remember watching this movie when I was really little. I was moved by it and I think I cried. Now I don't remember anything about the plot, but I know I used to love it.

It is our choices that show what we truly are, far more than our abilites.

reply

Well I got emotional...cannot remember which parts exactly, but some of the scenes were really touching...

How about the Bureau of Magic and Spellcasting?

reply

No, I'm sure you're not the only one.
I didn't cry, but I can imagine a lot of people tearing up over this movie.
It's really not hard to see the intimate side of movies, unless you're just not a sensitive person (or narrow-minded.)

reply

Don't feel bad, I'm 60 and I still cry while watching Lassie Come Home !

reply

This is a pretty emotionaly charged movie-I haven't seen it in years, but I remember the wish radio has sad things on it-or is it the scary radio that had those? I forget
