This two family baseball movies came out relatively close together. So my question to everyone. Which one is better? Both have some classic moments, R O Y the funky butt lovin' line and Angels where Glover tells Danza he's got an angel with him!

I enjoy Rookie of the Year more, mainly due to the Cubs winning the World Series being about as likely as a pubescent boy leading them there. But what's fun about Angels in the Outfield is looking at a pretty good cast for a bad family film. Matthew McConaughey, Danny Glover, Adrien Brody. Hell, throw in Tony Danza and Christopher Lloyd, this makes me laugh...

shareRookie of the Year because the premise of Angels In The Outfield is so ridiculous and screwed up, although Angels in the Outfield did do a few things well.
shareAngels in the Outfield. Great cast, great themes. The “angels are with us” flying signal is something I used to do at games, even if most people didn’t catch the reference. To me, it’s a 90s kids movie to remember.
