R O Y vs. Angels in the Outfield

This two family baseball movies came out relatively close together. So my question to everyone. Which one is better? Both have some classic moments, R O Y the funky butt lovin' line and Angels where Glover tells Danza he's got an angel with him!

I enjoy Rookie of the Year more, mainly due to the Cubs winning the World Series being about as likely as a pubescent boy leading them there. But what's fun about Angels in the Outfield is looking at a pretty good cast for a bad family film. Matthew McConaughey, Danny Glover, Adrien Brody. Hell, throw in Tony Danza and Christopher Lloyd, this makes me laugh...

I rank them about even

I prefer Rookie Of The Year.

Rookie of the Year because the premise of Angels In The Outfield is so ridiculous and screwed up, although Angels in the Outfield did do a few things well.

Angels in the Outfield. Great cast, great themes. The “angels are with us” flying signal is something I used to do at games, even if most people didn’t catch the reference. To me, it’s a 90s kids movie to remember.
