Kidnap the Sandy Claws. Reminds me a bit of the song I sang as a kid.

On top of Old Smokey all covered in blood, I shot my poor teacher with a 44 slug. I shot her with glory! I shot her with pride! And now my poor teacher lay dead in the grave!

I'm sure I freaked out some young people on this site with that song. Guess you'd have to be a kid around 7 years old in 1994.

Jack's delight is wonderful, and there's that great, dark moment of foreshadowing where he accidentally infuses a sleeping elf with a nightmare just by his contact.

"Poor Jack" for me.

For me, it's a tie between the two "soliloquy" songs, "Jack's Lament" and "Poor Jack". Both feature virtuoso performances by Danny Elfman, although of course he's great in all the songs he's featured in.
