This was like my favorite movie when i was like 4 or 5.
i gave it a 7.
It was one of my favorite movies growing up too. I think it deserves to be around 7. I don't know, maybe it's a nostalgia thing with us 90's kids..

this is probably one of the very best films of the modern dysfunctioning family era. the story holds up well. It has natural characters and a great sea animal. classic this one is. it's still good to watch.
sharelol its funny how that works isn't it? I grew up with movies like Free Willy, The Mighty Ducks, and Aladdin (my absolute favorite - which actually has a good rating). If Aladdin is playing - I almost have to sit down... and I usually sing along too lol, I know each song by heart without having to watch it.
Even now however, I reassess the quality, regardless of how endeared I am to the movie - otherwise I'd probably give it a 7 as well.
Now of course, I see movies like "spy kids", which my younger brother loves, and get real annoyed. Or other movies that release like 4 or 5 titles.
Also Nickelodeon, its just no good anymore. Remember "All That"? There's no more green slime. Just a bunch of shiny-looking kids working their way toward a singing career.
This kind of thing makes me feel a little old. I'm 23 though lol.
