ok, i had an idea years ago that make alot of sense. hear me out and let me know what u think. ok, what if aliens are humans? but humans from many many years into the future? if we did evolve from monkeys then surely we will continue to evolve. most pictures af aliens we see have two arms , two legs, one head etc so it seems very possible that we could continue to evolve and at some point will look like aliens (greys etc). at this point in the far future where humans look like aliens, we also have the means to travel through time? UFO's are time machines. we travel back through time to our present day to observe life all these years ago. we abduct people and research them to see what human life was like all these years ago! makes alot of sense to me. what do you think?

Read or watch the flick SPHERE as it deals with 1 or 2 concerns you raised. I'd recommend reading the book as it was written by Michael Crichton who wrote Jurassic Park.
The dino movie was totally different to the very adult themed JPark book.

I think you are on to something. Your idea is just as plausible as any other explanation for "alien beings" visiting Earth. Remember, closed-minded people smirked at the idea of the airplane. What would they think today with the extent air travel has evolved? A hundred years ago, who could have imagined CAT-scan technology, or the internet, or a massive telescope in space, or satellites or manned space travel? Keep thinking.

this is an interesting thread, i've come up with the same ideas before. another reason for the greys (future humans) looking the way they do, is because of global warming, the earth's surface grows warmer and warmer until it is uninhabitable and we move underground, where we need larger eyes to see in the darkness, we turn greyish from lack of sunlight and our bodies become small and frail due to evolution. we don't need to use our muscles for everything like we have in the past because of the increasing technology we can accomplish all of those things with the press of a button.

obviously you can't be certain about anything, but it's interesting to think about.

The whole time travel theory is interesting, but it seems much more likely that the whole alien abduction phenomemon can be contributed to hypnagogic and hypnogogic (sp?) hallucinations, as well as some brain disorders.

Interesting... I always thought that we could never really see an alien in its "true form" (for lack of a better word) because maybe as humans our brains could not process that or be able to handle seeing that. Long story short, I think our tiny minds may explode if our minds are faced with something that intense. The UFO time machine theory I could agree with... But the question is do you think that the aliens actually may have created us? I've always wondered about that... Nice post!

close, but not really. God made man in his image. We were created identical to aliens in ways, when they visited out planet, and they created us as workers. When we learned knowledge from them we grew as a civilization and they tried to kill us off with the flood. After the flood had surpassed, we mass produced, and ended up as we are today. Read "The 12th Planet" or "Chariots of the Gods" for more info.

I agree with you Red Flag, but i would argue that the big flood, could have been natural due to heavy climate changes ca 12500 years ago. But also these alien "gods" cold have initiated this climate changes without problems, its just that i don't see them as "evil".

if you read the travis walton story the aliens were human. not at first but at i think they put on disguises ya know. i for one have always believed he was telling the truth.

Aliens who looks alike humans are based in some aspects bound to life in earth, i mean chemichal and fisic rules. As they need legs, arms, heads, eyes, etc., so they need some kind of bones and bioligical internal system, to exist. So the idea its not out of logic.

Now, also i belive that any kind of life outside from earth its a "alien" or a "extra-terrestrial" form of life, as the word implies.

The point of Aliens beign proto-humans is more likeable as portrayed in Stargate, Contact and Prometheus, but those kind of alienes of course.

But if you watch Andrómeda Strain, thats the kind of "aliens" are more cientific close to exist.

Now my personal intake about inteligent life on earth is a bacteria traveled from space to earth and changed the already life or created life in a new enviorement, as I dont know how dumb or iq a bacteria may is or have.

But inteligent life maybe is the one at least feed and reproduce.

Why Aliens use/built time machines to go back and further to investigate life on earth, sound plausible as we "humans" experiment on living things to see how they are, or to improve our own lives. Maybe they use these experiments to some cintific research for they oown lifes and enviorement.

But at the end i like Carl Sagan´s explanation about the posibilities of life on the universe, also the big bang calendar, (i think its chapter 3) where life on earth represent a fraction of universe time line.

But in conclusion, we are made from midiclorians
