Adriene's Dad

You can tell that Adriene's dad was a total perv. Remember the part where he was talking to nick and he said that, "he dreaded the day the a guy with a hardon came to the door to date his little girl." Something was definitely wrong with her home life. It was very sad.

He thinks that he's a dumbass

Adriene's Father who was the dad on That 70s Show

was simply CLUELESS about his daughter

reply

Pervert? He seemed like a completely normal dad to me. That's how men talk when they aren't around women. All dads worry about when their daughters start to date.

You're the one with the problem.

lol... the dad must have been incredibly ignorant at least to overlook his daugthers flaws... any normal person would have at least started out asking about what was going on, instead he pretty much accuses him of having a crush on her right out of the blue, in words that are NOT normal man to man talk... yeah maybe 14 year old boy to 14 year old boy... i guess it's somewhat understandable, of course parents are biased towards their kids... ubt i agree with the start post... her dad might have been a nutjob himself... seriously? he bought a carousell and build it up in the attic for his daughter? love your kids, but dont be in love with them...

reply

Yeah, that dialogue from Adriene's dad made me cringe.

reply

Obviously, it's SUPPOSED to make you cringe, particularly since he then makes that snapping noise with the plyers.

reply

He also makes that remark about "...I hope I don't have to go and cut it off" (or something like that) and then laughs psychotically?!?!

'Hell, he probably thought about it a time or two himself.'

That's what I thought too. It was obvious he was a bit 'odd' to say the least. I was also weirded out by his comment about his wife's friend's new cleavage.

She controlled the animals of the forest even the trees seeming to do her bidding.

the reaction on Nick's face was priceless when Adrian's dad said that. :D

reply

ok so i take it that mostly women are making comments on this board... im sure just about every dad with a good looking daughter has made that remark to at least one person and i thought it was funny the way he laughs after it lol it definitly doesnt make him a perv though

reply

Not just that, the dad also had to point out how much his daughter's body had developed recently.

The dad was also really fugly. I hated all his scenes. Someone needs to slap that guy's bald head and tell him to quit acting.

Slater: Jessie, these pills are dangerous
Jessie: Yeah, well so is geometry.

reply

The dad was actually somewhat like the Clare Quilty character in "Lolita."

Especially with the extremely skeezy line about, "my daughter has really developed lately, I'M SUUUUURE YOU HAVE NOTICED."

Like Joe Simpson talking about his daughter's Double-D's.

4) You ever seen Superman $#$# his pants? Case closed.

reply

WTF are you talking about? Most fathers feel that way about their little girls. He was referring to guys wanted sleep with daughter, not him wanting to sleep with his daughter.

Clark's destiny = Superman, Lex Luthor & Lois Lane.
